Learn how to request deletion of your account and personal data from Dealspert.
How to Request Account Deletion
You have full control over your account and data.
Open the App
Launch Dealspert on your iOS or Android device.
Navigate to Settings
Go to the "Settings" tab from the bottom navigation bar.
Find Delete Account
Scroll down to the "Other" section and tap on "Delete Account".
Confirm Your Request
Review the information and confirm your deletion request.
90-Day Deletion Period
Once you request account deletion, your data will be permanently deleted within 90 days. This grace period allows you to change your mind and recover your account if needed.
During this period, your account will be deactivated and inaccessible, but you can contact support to cancel the deletion request and restore your account.
What Data Will Be Deleted?
When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed:
- check_circle Account Information: Your email, name, and profile details
- check_circle Saved Deals: Your favorited deals and deal interactions
- check_circle Votes: All your upvotes and downvotes on deals
- check_circle Purchase History & Savings: Your tracked purchases and savings data
- check_circle Preferences: App settings and customizations
Important Notes
Irreversible Action: After the 90-day period, data deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Backup Your Data: Before requesting deletion, make sure you no longer need your savings history or deal data.
Legal Obligations: Some data may be retained for legal or regulatory compliance purposes as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
